A two-year-old woman survived unhurt after her mom threw her to security as they escaped a burning high-rise throughout protests within the South African metropolis of Durban.
The mom, 26-year-old Naledi Manyoni, advised Reuters she had been on the sixteenth ground when the hearth began on Tuesday and ran down the steps together with her daughter.
South Africa is within the throes of one of many worst upheavals within the post-apartheid period, which started when former President Jacob Zuma was jailed final week for failing to seem for a corruption enquiry.
