Police in Haiti have made not less than 17 arrests in reference to the July seventh assassination of President Jovenel Moïse.
Many had been detained after a gun battle at a home in capital Port-au-Prince the place they had been holed up.
A number of suspects are nonetheless on the run and not less than three have been fatally shot by police.
Moïse’s loss of life has left a political energy vaccuum within the nation and plans are underway to overtake the present authorities. Mike Armstrong stories.
